Summary of my Proposal

My proposal started talking about my background in 4-H which started when i was only in the second grade. Telling others how to join the club and what exactly the organization does for the community and the members self-esteem and confidence. With all that in mind i started talking about how my public sphere day project was going to go. I got pamphlets and brochures explaining how you can join the club, explaining how the club helps the community, and what the clubs do on campus and off-campus. We also go some promos to hand out to the people that will stop by our table. For my public sphere day i joined collegiate 4-H.

  1. This is a good project. I think a lot of people think 4-H just has to do with farming and animals. In your pamphlets, you could tell about how there are all kind of different 4-H groups (photography, foods, etc....) You should do something that will definitely get others' attention. I feel as if 4-H gets looked over a lot. Everyone where I'm from is urged to join ever since elementary school, and everyone got kind of sick of it because it was never really explained to us what 4-H really is about.

  2. Well in my pamphlets I am going to use your idea and explain all about what they do, stand for, and what there is to do in 4-H. I understand where you are coming from we kinda got pressured into joining to but my leaders taught us all about what 4-H is and how it is more than just your projects for the county fair. The pamphlets will be well organized trying to explain more in depth what 4-H is. I hope after doing this project hopefully it will not be overlooked quite as much.

  3. Thats a really good idea. 4-H was a really big thing in my hometown and everyone that was in it always had fun and were all really good kids. If anything it really keeps them out of trouble doing stupid stuff.

  4. Ya where i grew up it was a pretty big deal also. Where i grew up it was always fun to be in 4-H because most of your friends are in it and you can always enjoy something when you have friends.
